SweepsGuard Grade: D.

Is La Casona legit?

SweepsGuard grades La Casona a D based on its complaint and payout history — a below-average grade, so play cautiously and review its complaint history first. Always read its official sweepstakes rules and play responsibly.

Overview InspireCore already runs Jumbo88, QuickMilly and Chino, and none of them rates well with us. La Casona is its fourth site and it is built the same way: same platform, the same 18-state exclusion list as Chino, the same Newark, Delaware mail-in address, and the same offer of 50 free SC spins on a first $20 purchase. The named sponsor is the exception. Chino's and QuickMilly's rules name InspireCore Technologies Inc., registered in Ontario, Canada, as the sponsor. La Casona's Terms and Sweepstakes Rules name only InspireCore US Inc., a Delaware corporation. The site is a Spanish-themed Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin casino with slots from Hacksaw, BGaming, Booming Games and others, plus its own mines, plinko and crash games. Redemptions start at 100 Sweeps Coins and pay by ACH or push to card. The rules aim to process them within 24 hours of verification, with funds in 1 to 3 business days, and allow up to 30 days. Verification is heavy: photo ID, proof of address, a selfie holding the ID, a facial scan and SSN validation. The mail-in route pays 1 Sweeps Coin per envelope, too little to be a real way to play. Sweeps Coins expire after 60 days with no Sweeps Coin play. It is closed in 18 states, including Pennsylvania, Maryland and Rhode Island on top of the usual exclusions, and is not open in Canada. Player Reception Nothing yet. La Casona has no Trustpilot profile, and a search of the sweepstakes and gambling communities we follow turned up no threads about it, while the same search returned results for other brands. Nobody has said in public whether it pays. The sister sites give some idea of what to expect. Jumbo88's reviews are split hard between fast-payout praise and complaints about unresponsive support, bonus playthrough that was higher than expected, and slow larger withdrawals. QuickMilly's small set of reviews is mostly one star. Strengths La Casona publishes a separate Bonus Terms page with a game-by-game table of how much each title counts toward playthrough. Major Issues The Sweepstakes Rules let the operator refund a player's purchases instead of paying out a prize redemption, at its sole discretion, and also reserve the right to charge handling or processing fees on redemptions. Neither is limited or explained. We asked support when a refund would happen. They said Gold Coin purchases are final and that the question belongs to their compliance team. The redemption cap reads "$5,000 in Florida per Sweepstakes Entry Period". It names one state and doesn't say what applies everywhere else. Chino carries the same leftover wording. Support told us its documentation doesn't set a cap for other states and pointed us back to the rules. The welcome package is never put in numbers. The FAQ calls it "a generous starter pack", and playthrough on bonus Sweeps Coins is set offer by offer rather than in the rules, so a player can't check it before signing up. Support told us the welcome amounts vary and are shown only in the app at sign-up. The rules also let the operator change game win rates at any time. Track Record La Casona has no payout record yet and no complaints filed with us. Our check was done from outside an account, because the site blocks the state we tested from, so the coin store, the redeem screen and whether the mail-in actually credits are still unverified. SweepsGuard Status We aren't recommending La Casona for now. It is the fourth site from an operator whose other three all have weak records with us, and its rules leave the operator a lot of room on whether and how a prize gets paid. We'll revisit once La Casona players confirm payouts and the redemption section is cleaned up.
