Overview Launched in mid-2023, Moonspin is a sweepstakes casino operated by Solar Bloom LLC (registered in Casper, Wyoming), with the platform developed and maintained by Darius Technology Limited (Limassol, Cyprus). The casino operates under the standard Gold Coin / Sweeps Coin model and is available in 30+ U.S. states. Moonspin began as a crypto-only platform before transitioning to a fiat-based payment system, and has accumulated 1,300+ casino-style games from providers including Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, Booming Games, Evoplay, RubyPlay, Playson, 3 Oaks Gaming, KA Gaming, and Habanero. The platform also features a lineup of in-house original titles — Crash, Limbo, When Moon Bro, Dice, Wheel of Fortune, and Hilo — with provably fair RNG technology. Despite a previously solid reputation, Moonspin is now blacklisted by SweepsGuard following a documented pattern of nonpayment, deceptive support communications, and retaliatory account closures. Player Reception Moonspin's Trustpilot rating is mixed, and it still carries weight from the platform's better years. Reviews from 2026 onward tell a very different story. Players report redemptions going unpaid for weeks or months, with support defaulting to "escalation" language and promises of faster processing that never arrive. Players who redeemed in February 2026 reported still waiting 20+ days later, with daily support contacts producing only canned replies. One reviewer's redemption submitted February 3rd was still unpaid after 20 days despite constant follow-up. Another described a 15-day wait on a $150 redemption with support offering only generic high-volume messaging. Players who used to praise Moonspin's speed have reversed their reviews, noting that "it's not always been this bad." The overall rating understates current conditions, since many affected players have not posted a review. Critical Issues Widespread nonpayment of redemptions — multiple players report outstanding redemptions spanning weeks to months with no resolution Support systematically uses "escalation" and "expedite" language as a delay tactic without any actual payment follow-through Moonspin claims to process redemptions in order of submission — this is contradicted by firsthand evidence showing later-dated redemptions being paid while earlier ones remain outstanding Terms state redemptions are processed within 5 business days "in most cases" — actual processing is running 7–10x that window for many players, with some exceeding 45+ days Retaliatory account closures: players who initiated chargebacks after exhausting all other avenues have had their accounts closed immediately, rather than the underlying payment dispute being addressed No live chat support available — all contact is via email, which further limits accountability when payment disputes arise Operator transparency remains limited — Solar Bloom LLC and Darius Technology Limited provide minimal public documentation, reducing recourse options for affected players Track Record Moonspin's track record has collapsed in a short period. Through late 2024 and into early 2025, the platform maintained a generally positive reputation — players reported reasonably timely payouts, an active support team, and a growing game library. As recently as late 2025, our grade reflected payment delays that were getting worse but were not yet critical. That situation has since deteriorated dramatically. By February 2026, a clear and consistent pattern of nonpayment had emerged, with multiple players reporting multi-week and multi-month outstanding redemptions. Support communications during this period followed a scripted pattern of escalation promises without resolution — behavior that crosses from operational delay into deceptive conduct. SweepsGuard has firsthand knowledge of this pattern: a $2,500 redemption submitted in February 2026 went unpaid for nearly seven weeks despite repeated follow-up, with support consistently promising escalation and delivery dates that were not honored. Payment was never received. When a chargeback was initiated through the player's financial institution after all other avenues were exhausted, Moonspin responded by closing the account rather than addressing the dispute. Separately, a redemption submitted by another player on February 25, 2026 was paid, while an earlier redemption from February 9 from a different player remained outstanding — directly contradicting Moonspin's claim of processing in submission order. The operator entities remain registered, but the absence of payment infrastructure capable of honoring legitimate redemptions — combined with active deception in support communications — constitutes conduct incompatible with a trustworthy sweepstakes operation. SweepsGuard Status SweepsGuard has received multiple formal complaints against Moonspin. Case #53 involved a Pennsylvania player who reported $2,620 in confiscated funds after Moonspin sent mass account closure emails claiming terms violations. Moonspin did not respond to mediation, and the case was closed as Unresolved — No Response. A second complaint, Case #88, involved a Virginia player whose $1,403.72 redemption sat unpaid for over four months before the account was closed; Moonspin engaged on this case and declined the redemption, citing "promotional abuse" under its Terms (exclusive purchase of enhanced promotional offers, a low wager-to-purchase ratio, and concentrated gameplay) without alleging fraud or multi-accounting. SweepsGuard closed Case #88 as Unresolved — Unfair Outcome, finding the operator's reliance on undisclosed internal criteria did not justify withholding an otherwise legitimate payout. SweepsGuard has blacklisted Moonspin. Those complaints back up what was already documented: systemic nonpayment, corroborated by Trustpilot reviews, firsthand experience, and player reports. The pattern is not one of isolated delays — it reflects a platform that is either unable or unwilling to honor legitimate redemption requests, and that is actively using deceptive support language to forestall player action while doing so. If Moonspin owes you a redemption, start by documenting everything: redemption submissions, confirmation emails, and every support exchange, with dates. Then file a complaint with SweepsGuard so we can track how many players are affected, and work through our guide at sweepsguard.com/casino-wont-pay. If you have been paid for some redemptions but not others, note the dates. Moonspin says it pays in order of submission, and the record says otherwise, which matters in any dispute. A card dispute with your bank is a last resort only. It typically gets the account closed and the remaining balance forfeited, which is what happened in the firsthand case above. We will keep watching Moonspin's payment behavior and update this page if it materially improves. Update (July 30, 2026). Case #214 ($130, Florida) has been resolved with no violation found on the specific question it raised. The player disputed a duplicate-account closure; Moonspin responded with dated, case-specific evidence — a shared-device geolink and 32 overlapping active days across two accounts between February 2025 and July 2026. We hold operators to the standard of being able to evidence a closure, and Moonspin met it here. Two points remain open and are recorded as such: the player says the basis was never put to them before the account was closed, and the $130 balance is still held. This finding concerns that one case and does not change the wider assessment on this page, which rests on a broader record of complaints and operator conduct.
