Overview Storm opened to players on September 17, 2026. It is a conventional dual-currency sweepstakes casino: Gold Coins are for play only, and Sweeps Coins are given free and redeem for prizes at a dollar each. The lobby carries an advertised 3,000-plus games from about 38 studios, among them BGaming, PG Soft, Playson, Betsoft and Booming Games, across slots, live dealer, table games and in-house Storm Originals, plus a VIP ladder, daily and hourly promotions, tournaments and a referral program. Sweeps Coins expire 45 days after a player's last login, mail-in coins included. Entry is 21 and over. Availability is split three ways: some states are excluded outright, some get Gold Coin play only, and a few get sweepstakes play without card, dice or table games. Canadians are not eligible. The sponsor named in the rules is 3-102-969184 LIMITADA, a limited liability company registered in Costa Rica. Player Reception Early, but pointing the right way on payouts. Redemptions were paused for the first days after launch and are now open. A player we have worked with before had a $234 cashout approved on launch night, though we have not seen a receipt for it. Another player sent us his bank record of a $172 Storm payout in October 2026 that arrived in under six hours. Several of the first handful of Trustpilot reviews describe completed redemptions, one after about twenty minutes of play. The complaints there are about game results, plus one player whose ID was rejected twice before verification went through. Of the complaints filed with us in October, one was an account disabled in the middle of a redemption, and Storm restored it the day we wrote (Case #456). Another, a $711 win followed by an account closure, went unanswered (Case #434). Players have also told us the bonus Sweeps Coin balance is confusing: games throw errors or refuse it, and nothing on screen says why. Strengths Redemptions are open. Cash starts at 100 Sweeps Coins and gift cards at 50, paid through Breeze with identity checks by Persona. No fee is charged on a redemption. The rules and the redemption page both say so. The free mail-in route is live with no cap on requests. Each handwritten request card earns 3 Sweeps Coins with the same 1x playthrough as any other Sweeps Coin. The rules are finished and kept current. Version 1.6 was published on October 7, 2026, names the sponsor, and now spells out the playthrough on bonus coins: up to 40x, shown before a bonus is claimed. 21 and over, with the National Problem Gambling Helpline on every page. Oklahoma is already excluded ahead of the state law that takes effect on November 1, 2026. Major Issues The sponsor is a numbered Costa Rican company with no trading name. There is no trading history to look up, no sibling brands to judge it by, and the jurisdiction offers a player little practical recourse. Minor Issues Bonus coins still cause trouble. Players report errors when games try to run on the bonus balance, and nothing on screen says which games accept it. If a game errors out, switch to your redeemable balance. Launch bugs. Players report the refer-a-friend link disappearing and coming back, among other rough edges from the first weeks. The track record is only a few weeks long. Redemptions work, but only a handful have been reported. Track Record Short, and mixed so far. Case #456 closed in the player's favor the same day we wrote, and Case #434 went unanswered. The sponsor has no other brands, so there is no portfolio record to read across. Storm did not answer our launch email. SweepsGuard Status The open question at launch was whether payouts worked, and they do: redemptions are open and players report being paid. What keeps the grade where it is: a few weeks of history, a numbered offshore sponsor, a bonus balance that still throws game errors, and a $711 complaint Storm never answered. The free coins and the mail-in route are a sensible way to start. Keep purchases modest until the payout record is longer, and play your redeemable balance if a game starts throwing errors. We will look again as more redemptions come in. Update (Oct 8, 2026): Case #456. A Texas player was logged out while entering a $400 redemption and found her account disabled, with about $900 in it. We wrote to Storm on October 7, and that evening Storm told her it was a system error and restored the account and the balance. Update (Oct 9, 2026): Case #434. A Texas player won $711 and had his account shut down right after, over a terms breach Storm never explained. We wrote to Storm on October 1 and got no reply by the October 8 deadline. Closed Unresolved, No Response.
