SweepsGuard Grade: D.

Is Chanced legit?

SweepsGuard grades Chanced a D based on its complaint and payout history — a below-average grade, so play cautiously and review its complaint history first. Always read its official sweepstakes rules and play responsibly.

Overview Launched in early 2023, Chanced is operated by Gold Coin Group LLC, a Texas-registered company that also runs Punt. The platform follows the standard sweepstakes model, using Gold Coins (GC) for free play and Sweeps Coins (SC) for prize redemption. It offers 1,300+ casino-style games from providers including Relax Gaming, NetEnt, Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming, BGaming, Evoplay, AvatarUX, BTG, RubyPlay, 3 Oaks and Evolution, spanning slots, live dealer tables, classic table games, scratch cards and a suite of in-house "Chanced Originals" including Crash, Dice, Mines and Plinko. The platform is available in most U.S. states. Redemptions start at 100 Sweeps Coins. Player Reception Chanced holds a solid Trustpilot rating on a large volume of reviews. The most praised feature is redemption speed, with players frequently reporting near-instant bank transfers, and game variety, slot quality and the live dealer experience also draw consistent praise. The most common complaints concern playthrough requirements on free and bonus Sweeps Coins, inconsistency in the VIP rewards program, and redemption errors that take extended email follow-up to resolve. The players who reach SweepsGuard describe something more serious: accounts closed without a stated reason, sometimes right after verification, and mailed entries that were never credited. Strengths 1,300+ games from strong providers including Relax Gaming, Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming, NetEnt, BGaming and Evolution Redemption speed widely praised by players, with near-instant ACH bank transfers commonly reported once a redemption is approved Live dealer offerings including blackjack, roulette and baccarat from Atmosphera, Beter Live and ICONIC21 "Chanced Originals" in-house games (Crash, Dice, Limbo, Mines, Plinko, Keno) using provably fair technology 11-tier VIP Club with automatic enrollment Responsible gaming tools including time-outs from 24 hours to 3 months with balance preservation Daily login bonuses, Daily Races, tournaments and seasonal events Critical Issues As of October 2026, Chanced had not replied to a single SweepsGuard mediation request, and every published case had closed with no response, some without even an automated acknowledgment. Accounts closed without a stated reason, including a Terms of Service breach that two support agents declined to name and a closure within a day of finishing verification The mail-in route advertises 5 SC per request card, but mailed entries have gone uncredited: in one case $200 in mail-in entries, in another 26 cards posted before an account closure, and in a third an account closed after the player mailed 71 entries Major Issues The sweepstakes rules require Sweeps Coins to be played through three times by default and let the operator require more at its discretion; players report 10x on free and bonus coins No dedicated mobile app, and limited payment options with no e-wallet or crypto support VIP rewards reported as inconsistent by some players Track Record Chanced has operated since early 2023 under Gold Coin Group LLC, a registered U.S. business, and built its reputation on game quality and fast payouts. That reputation is still visible in its public reviews. What it does not have is any record of answering a dispute. Every complaint SweepsGuard has put to Chanced since March 2026, seven in all, has closed without a reply, and they describe the same few mechanisms: accounts closed with no reason given, verification that blocks a redemption indefinitely, and mail-in entries that go unprocessed. The cases came from different players in different states over six months. SweepsGuard Status An operator that does not respond to good-faith mediation cannot sit in the middle of our scale indefinitely, and Chanced has now gone seven cases without a reply. Players who use Chanced should complete verification early, keep balances modest, and keep a dated record of every mail-in entry and redemption. We will revisit the grade if Chanced begins engaging with disputes. Case #27, an Illinois player, $200 in mail-in entries never credited. Closed Unresolved, No Response. Case #63, an Arizona player whose account was closed after mailing 71 entries. Closed Unresolved, No Response. Case #129, a Pennsylvania player, a $505 verification and closure dispute. Closed Unresolved, No Response in July 2026. Case #275, a Texas player whose account was closed for a Terms of Service breach that two support agents declined to name, with 26 mail-in entries posted before the closure and never processed. Closed Unresolved, No Response on August 26, 2026. Case #299, a Wisconsin player, $110, blocked partway through the third-party facial verification step with a redemption frozen. Closed Unresolved, No Response on August 26, 2026. Case #301, an Arkansas player, $300, account canceled with no reason given. Closed Unresolved, No Response on August 26, 2026. Case #356, a Texas player whose account was closed within a day of finishing verification, with no reason given and no answer about the balance. We wrote on September 2 asking what the closure finding was, whether a person had reviewed it, and where the balance stood. Nothing came back, not even an automated acknowledgment. Closed Unresolved, No Response on September 10, 2026. Case #414, a Missouri player who mailed 96 entry envelopes between September 3 and September 17, worth about $480 in Sweeps Coins by his count, and none were credited.
