SweepsGuard Grade: D.

Is Punt legit?

SweepsGuard grades Punt a D based on its complaint and payout history — a below-average grade, so play cautiously and review its complaint history first. Always read its official sweepstakes rules and play responsibly.

Overview Punt is a sweepstakes casino launched in 2024. Its terms name Gold Coin Group LLC, which also runs Chanced, and its Sweeps Rules name the sponsor as Punt, at 1309 Coffeen Avenue, Suite 1200, Sheridan, Wyoming. It runs the standard model, Gold Coins for social play and Sweeps Coins for prize-eligible play, with a large library of slots, live dealer titles, table games and originals from well-known studios. Redemptions start at 100 Sweeps Coins. Players must be 21 or older. The Sweeps Rules exclude California, Connecticut, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee and Washington; check the state list on this page before signing up. Player Reception Punt holds a fairly good Trustpilot rating, with most reviewers awarding five stars but a sizable block of one-star reviews. The praise centers on fast redemptions, often described as landing within minutes, and on the game variety. The criticism centers on account closures after significant wins with little explanation, verification friction, the redemption minimum, and reports that redemptions no longer process as quickly as they once did. One reviewer reported being asked for a photo of their Social Security card during manual verification. The operator does not reply to negative reviews. Strengths Large game library including live dealer, table games, scratchcards and arcade titles from established studios Fast redemptions widely reported by players when they go through Tiered VIP program with rakeback and level-up bonuses, plus a progressive daily login bonus and a referral program Live chat support and a help center Responsible gaming tools including break-in-play, self-exclusion and purchase limits Issues The operator has not answered a single SweepsGuard mediation request. Five published cases, all closed Unresolved, No Response, three of them about mail-in entries that were never credited The mail-in route cannot be relied on. Two players reported 110 and 190 mailed entries never credited, and the operator's position, as relayed to one of them, is that a player cannot check their own entry count Playthrough on Sweeps Coins is three times by default under the Sweeps Rules, and the operator can raise it to as many as 20; promotional Sweeps Coins from giveaways and codes carry heavier requirements, and many game types do not count toward clearing it Sweeps Coins expire 60 days after a player's last login Reports of account closures after large wins with no specific reason given No response to negative Trustpilot reviews No e-wallet, crypto or gift card redemptions, and no dedicated mobile app Track Record Punt launched in 2024 under the same group that runs Chanced, and the two share a record with us: neither has answered any case we have put to it, and Chanced's grade came down on the same pattern. Punt's payout speed and game library are real, but a free entry route that players report failing, and an operator that will not engage when it does, now outweigh them. SweepsGuard Status SweepsGuard has five published complaints about Punt, all closed Unresolved, No Response. In Case #44, a Georgia player reported 110 mail-in entries sent between July 2025 and January 2026, worth about $550, none of them credited. In Case #130, a Pennsylvania player completed photo verification, was told the account was under review, and then lost access with 82 mail-in entries unpaid ($410). In Case #131, a Missouri player's account was banned without explanation shortly after a $299 purchase. In Case #161, a Minnesota player's account was locked immediately after a $199.99 purchase. In Case #350, a Kansas player reported 190 mail-in entries over about four months, valued at $949.98, never credited, after checking the required wording with Punt's own live chat; we raised it on August 31 at the process level and the September 7 deadline passed with no reply. Punt has not replied to any SweepsGuard mediation request. Document every mail-in entry with photos and postage receipts, keep volume low, keep full records ahead of any large redemption, and do not rely on the free entry route. We will reassess if Punt starts engaging with disputes.
